Trained as a cultural anthropologist, Drew has over 15 years working with organizations and leaders in helping them understand, manage, and transform their company cultures. Unlike most other approaches to working with corporate culture, Drew’s approach is grounded in Design and design thinking (DT). That is, rather than falling back on “the way things are done around here,” a DT approach to managing culture is grounded in materially changing organizations through architectural and design interventions, first. Patterns of interaction (Pattern Languages) develop after material interventions, which then lead to tangible cultural and behavioral change over time.
Drew’s process starts with the assessment tool- the Fifth Age Index– which helps identify areas of the organization in need of physical change. From there, the advisory process unfolds in concert with his design partners who are available to help in implementing the interior design first-steps.
